The Core of Global Warming Problems and Solutions
Nowadays, one of the most problematic issues in the world is global warming. This shows that the earth is becoming hotter every year. The “greenhouse gases are responsible for most of the observed temperature increase”(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming ,paragraph 1, line 4-5) in the earth. Not a lot of people understand this important situation but those who understand it try their best making political campaigns. In order to achieve what they want and try to solve the problems.
There are several ways to define global warming. One of the most common is the increase in the earth's surface temperature. This might not be a problem in life for most of mankind. However, it will take a long time for assumed results to be shown. Global warming has shown many abnormal changes in nature and most of them are horrifying such as, volcanoes, hurricanes, heavy rain falls, and the melting of the North and South Poles ice. ”According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) the sea level has risen 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 cm) in the last 100 years”.( http://science.howstuffworks.com/question473.htm, Paragraph 1, line 3 -4) This has caused a rise in sea level and a lot of places have become flooded. Some inhabitants’ islands now are evacuated because of their being flooded by the rise in sea water. Also another thing is that species that live in the Arctic are the “polar bears, which depend on ice floes during the summer for resting” (http://0-www.school.eb.co.uk.library.hct.ac.aecomptons/art-90106/The-dramatic-decrease-in-the-area-and-thickness-of-Arctic?&articleTypeId=31, paragraph 1, line 2)“The decreasing summer sea ice is forcing bears to swim greater distances than normal, leaving the animals exhausted, underweight, and vulnerable to drowning”. Colder and hotter countries now turn out to be the opposite of each other in temperature. Even some areas now have snow or hail which is still unusual in life. Also another problem of the earth’s surface is the Ozone layer which has been depleted. And now there is a very high possibility of receiving cancer from the UV (Ultra Violet) rays from the sun which can now penetrate through the earth’s surface. This UV radiation is changing the earth’s usual temperature and there is a high possibility of animal and human extinction in the future. Not only has this problem been going on due to the increase of temperature it also is caused by the cutting down of trees. This also created a big issue to discoverers and scientists because it is important through their research to learn new methods of protecting mankind and animals by developing a new cure. To gain this cure they obtain it from animals, plants and trees, for example camels nowadays can live in nuclear radiation area and if scientists learned its secrets it might be applied to other living creatures too and most of all the existence of mankind. A lot of emissions are caused by vehicles like planes which create a lot of CO2 because of the high rates of travel each day and over years and not only that but also they create much pollution in agricultural areas. When planes fly on top of these areas fuel falls on to these lands and it creates pollution and destroys the earth. Even the transportation of products in ships and trucks creates hazardous gases, along with the billions of people using these vehicles every second and creating CO2. This problem could have been solved before because they had no problem financially in the old days since 1970 when they had just discovered global warming occurring in world. However now we are in the financial crisis era and it has become very hard for many organizations within the globe to take action to solve this problem. Moreover solving these problems needs to billions of dollars; what's more is that there is a very low percentage rate of success in achieving the organizational goals to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide within the atmosphere.
It is known that this unstoppable problem that is coming within the future cannot be stopped; but it can be slowed down if the people around the world would co-operate together and were to use environmental resources. Here are several examples of solutions that can be used to solve this issue. Companies and organization now are taking action to stop or reduce the amount of Carbon Dioxide that is being released every day by discovering new resources and methods to save energy in a better way. A different solution is the use of green sources such as, solar power, electricity, and many more. When using green turbines at home and a green car this could save a lot of energy for the country to develop itself and reduce the amount of CO2 that is emitted in the air. Another solution is to reduce the land fill site areas because many of the things that are thrown there are being recycled and it consumes a lot of energy, such as paper. Also many land fill site areas are used to create a more dangerous gas than the CO2 which is methane which is used for lighters; because of this it increases the dangerous gas and will have a huge possibility in destroying the earth itself. Greenpeace is an organization that protects the environment and they are now planting as many trees as they can and they are against companies that destroy the forests because the trees and plants are the two main sources that keep the earth balanced and help the humans and other organisms live within this world. They convert the CO2 into oxygen and hydrogen which is a gas that we and other organisms can breathe freely in order to live.
I think that most of the people in the globe should be aware of this threat and that their cause could be great. Also this may be because of the daily consumption of fuel, electricity, water, etc that we use every day.

Green City
Nowadays there have been a lot problems in the economic development. These problems were the over growth in population, traffic delays and many more. Companies such as the SDCJ Japan are taking action to solve this problem.
There have been several problems on earth and it is filled with hazardous gases such as carbon dioxide. The researchers and scientists who were researching about this case assume that if we don’t solve these problems we will need another planet. However we can’t because it’s not possible for us to replace the earth. So one thing we should do is reduce the amount of carbon dioxide that is emitted into the air. The maximum rate of carbon dioxide should be reduced by 50 percent in order to make the earth’s environment normal to live in. In Japan over the past 3 decades the GDP has increased 100 percent. Moreover the productivity of energy has gone up to 37 percent and even 8 percent of oil consumption has decreased. Now the carbons that are emitted into the air usually come from buildings and transportation. Because of this the carbon emissions are very high. However there will be a project about a city that will reduce the CO2 and it will be called Cool City which means Green City. This will be the future city to reduce the carbon dioxide that is within the atmosphere of the earth. The companies that are building it are eleven famous companies. All of these famous companies are from the same country which is Japan. In their project there will be three types of transportation system which are water taxis, hybrid cars and trains. This transportation system will all be renewable energy. Also the City zones will be divided into three parts which is the commercial, business and residential. They will be many of these zones within the city itself. In addition to that in the project of cool city there will be also another additional three elements to reduce the heat and these elements are wind, water and trees. Another way they aim to reduce the carbon dioxide is using two types of buildings which is Eco Towers and Eco Residences. I think that if they use most of these elements it will reduce a lot of carbon dioxide within the air. However at the end of the video the overall of percentage of reduced carbon emissions is thought to be 60 percent.
In conclusion, these cities that will we built in the future might reduce the carbon dioxide. But I think that we won’t be needing these cities because no one knows what might happen in the future.

Suicides in China
Summary
Over 1.5 million Chinese women try to commit suicide every year. This suicide often occurs in the rural areas, and they are more than the normal rate in the cities. The cause of this huge case is because “the availability of poisons” and few of them kill themselves immediately. The business deals of china have many relations to the culture and traditions have a big impact on the women’s lives. These because of the old traditions for ex: brides are sometimes bribed and they become a member of different family. Due to their committing in suicides female brides in China have had a lot of conflict between their husbands. Many Chinese citizens have agreed about this issue that “traditional values are a problem” in China. Women in China relieve them themselves by killing themselves believing that they would have some pride. However the government is having many difficulties in the old traditions and culture.
Main Idea

My opinion on this article that it was a good one because a lot of Chinese women are discriminated in China because of this many of them have committed suicide. The article mostly gives examples about the Chinese women how do they commit their suicides and what are their conflicts in life. I would really like to know in how to do they help these Chinese women. How can they stop or reduce these suicide attempts what are the possible and impossible ways in doing so.

My Carbon Footprint
My overall carbon footprint is 3.18.

The carbon footprint that I created in my life is done by many things. And I will explain most of the things I did in life in how carbon footprint was created.
The measure of carbon footprints is done by several of things that I did in life. One of them is when I drove a car I consumed a lot of energy regularly during the day. Although it generally depends on how much I drove the car. Sometimes I drive over 2 or 3 hours a day. But, instead of driving most of my time when I want reduce the carbon is going out on foot. This was one of the ways that have reduced the carbon footprint in my life. Another thing is when I’m at home. A lot of carbon is created when trying to heating up the food. Also when using the electricity at home, I usually kept the electricity on. However now a day when I usually leave I try to turn them off as possibly as I could in order to prevent carbons. At other times when I buy new products from the shops and buy a lot of unnecessary things. Occasionally these products that I’ve bought may not be useful to me in the future and when these waste goes to the land fill areas they are sometimes burned or recycled and could be buried underground. When they burn or recycle them they create a lot of carbon and this adds up my carbon footprint also when burying them it often creates hazardous gases such as methane and carbon.
In conclusion, I have created a lot of carbon footprint in my life, but most of the time I try to reduce my carbon footprint by denying the things that stand in my way in creating carbon footprint.

An Inconvenient Truth
Brandon Fibbs says that the scientists around the world believe that global warming is affecting the world and is making the earth become hotter. Also this brings chaos to the earth system. There is a short amount of time to solve everything, and change life back the way it was before.
He also says that they is much evidences within the movie that Al Gore showed, and he expressed his views about this crisis. He showed many photos and proved them with facts and charts. He tried to convince the people with all of his knowledge; while he convinced them he showed them a lot of different types of charts and also the past and the present and the result of this if it keeps happening. Many problems will occur around the world such as floods, storms, extinction, increase of refugees and climate change also many others.
Now the unfavorable review of what Scott says:
Scott Says it’s more about Al Gore than climate change because for most part of the movie Al Gore shows most of his past life and how he changed and what affected his life. He also shows about his family side and talks about them when it has nothing to do with global warming.
Another thing Scott adds is Al Gore makes political jokes on the republicans and George Bush which might make the republicans angry and also offend them. If he was trying to convince the people he wouldn’t have made jokes or show what he did in his life; he would have told the people about global warming
My opinion about the movie is that it was a great movie and I liked the way he presented and brought the evidence and all the important facts about global warming. Also what I liked about it is that most of the information is linked and related to each other even when you realize the things from the past have an effective link to the future about global warming. Also I disagree about the negative things because I think Al Gore tried to show some of his past because he wanted to convince the people about the important people they have and also wants them to see a better place in life. Another thing I liked about him is how he approaches the audience in explaining the consequences of global warming in the future and how it is affecting the earth. Also he brought many solutions; if the world is convinced about global warming and works together we can change everything in such a short amount of time to how it was before and solve the problem of global warming. However, Al Gore used a phrase related to the crisis of global warming and he said that “it is not a political issue, but it is a moral issue”.
